In this case, you'll never find the motivation to revive it, and it's not going to help you if it's never updated.

In fact, it could hurt your reputation in other areas of your business. Go through your posts, and if there are enough good ones, create some kind of info product out of them.

One of the main challenges bloggers face is not having sufficient time to consistently post to their blogs. You may have blogged daily when you first began, but can you really continue at such a pace? It's not likely. This doesn't mean you should give up -instead, why not seek out posts from other bloggers in your niche? You can still write your own posts, but you'll also be enlisting help to make things easier for you.

Just because your blog needs fresh content regularly doesn't mean you have to write all of it.

A blog that's not active will rapidly decline in popularity an relevance. But if you decide that you want your blog to become important once more, there are definite ways to bring this about. Most bloggers have periods when they fall behind in their efforts. It doesn't take superhuman effort to have a successful blog, but it does take some consistency.
